LLC of One
[ 00 — LLC of One ]

Your LLC needs to be AI-first. We build its back office with you.

A lean back office that lets you outcompete bigger firms, with every step explained. Admin education, not tax or legal advice.

Start with Consult Book a call

[ 01 — The desks ]

One owner. Every desk in the office.

Billing, books, contracts, records. All of it waits until the paid work is done.

[ 02 — The shift ]

The paperwork learned to read.

AI tools now sort transactions and draft invoices. You still review and sign.

[ 03 — The ledger ]

Receipts. Invoices. Statements. One ledger.

Every loose paper spirals into a single record you can search.

[ 04 — One source ]

One source of truth.

[ 05 — The owner ]

Owner, not bookkeeper.

Review what the tools prepare. Approve anything that leaves under your name.

[ 06 — The back office ]

A one-person LLC with a back office.

Invoices out on time. Records you can find. A clean handoff at tax time.

[ 07 — Learn and build ]

Your admin, taught and built together.

Teach

How to review AI-drafted books and invoices, which records to keep, and what to ask your CPA or attorney.

Build

The admin itself: receipt intake, categorizing, invoicing and a records archive, set up on your accounts with you.

[ 09 — A second reader ]

Every owner gets a second reader.

An AI draft, checked by you, then by your CPA or attorney.

[ 10 — Next year ]

Next year’s tools will read this year’s records.

Keep them clean now. Every later tool depends on them.

[ 11 — Hours or coaches ]

Hours, or coaches by the month.

We help you find the leaks and stop them: hours lost, errors made and sales missed in work your team repeats.

  • Each month, pick up to 5 business processes for us to work on. Work starts in week one. Anything not finished carries into next month’s 5.
  • A business process is one job your team repeats, start to finish. Like: a receipt gets captured, categorized and filed.
  • Each one becomes a working automation in your own tools, tested on your real work and taught to your team.
  • Build Plus and Build Program handle more than 5 at once. New software products and replacing a core system are quoted separately.
  • You own everything we build.

[ Questions ]

What is LLC of One?
LLC of One (llcofone.com) is run by Utlyze for owners of single-member LLCs who handle their own admin. It teaches AI bookkeeping, invoicing and record-keeping, and links to primary sources such as the IRS. It is education, not tax or legal advice.
How does the IRS treat a single-member LLC by default?
Per the IRS, for income tax purposes a single-member LLC is treated as an entity disregarded as separate from its owner unless it files Form 8832 and affirmatively elects to be treated as a corporation. What that means for your return is a question for your CPA or enrolled agent.
Does a single-member LLC need an EIN?
Per the IRS, a disregarded single-member LLC with no employees and no excise tax liability does not need an EIN. It should use the owner’s name and taxpayer identification number for federal tax purposes. For wages paid after January 1, 2009, the IRS requires the LLC’s own name and EIN for employment taxes. Banks and clients may ask for one anyway; confirm your situation with a professional.
Should my LLC elect S corporation status?
We do not recommend elections. An S corporation election has trade-offs that depend on your income, payroll and state. We explain the terms and help you prepare the questions, and the decision belongs with a CPA or enrolled agent.
Can AI do my LLC’s bookkeeping?
AI tools can categorize transactions, match receipts and draft invoices. They make mistakes, so you or your accountant review the work, and nothing should post or send without your approval.
What records should I keep?
The IRS publishes record-keeping guidance for small businesses, and your CPA can tell you what your situation needs. We help you build a system that captures receipts, invoices, statements and contracts in one searchable place.
Is it safe to put my financial data into AI tools?
No tool is risk-free, and we make no guarantees. We teach basic habits: strong authentication, the least access each tool needs, no passwords or keys pasted into chats, and a regular look at account activity. This is education, not a security assessment.
Is this tax or legal advice?
No. Everything here is education with links to primary sources. Confirm any filing, election, deduction or contract decision with a CPA, enrolled agent or attorney who knows your situation.
How is this different from Business of One?
LLC of One covers the admin side of a single-member LLC: books, invoices, records and what to ask your professionals. Business of One focuses on building and operating an AI-first company. Utlyze runs both, and the two Consult and Build offers are identical.
What does it cost, and how do I start?
Consult is $400 an hour, reserved five hours at a time, so $2,000 minimum. Build is $15,000 a month. Each month, pick up to 5 business processes for our build-with-you coaches to work on. They build your AI systems with you and teach your team to run them. If you ever leave, the systems stay with you. Agents work only on your systems, and a shared rotation is on call 24/7 with response times in writing. Pick either one in the form that closes the home page.
